Greetings!!!

As you may already know "increasing diversity in the healthcare workforce has been cited as a solution to narrowing the gap in health care disparities... (http://faculty.medicine.iu.edu/offices/da/facts.html).  Thus, we strive to matriculate a diverse group in our Summer Medical & Dental Education Program (SMDEP) at the University of Louisville.  Of course, your unique experiences, personality, and dedication to the fields of medicine & dentistry help us to accomplish this goal.  Thank you to our alumni for sharing 6 weeks of your life with us and to our 2012 scholars we can't wait to meet you all in June as we embark on an educational and fun filled summer.
